Update about our move, We made it here!

So...we made it to our property in Nevada, it was a long, grueling, soul-wrenching drive, that started out with a catastrophe of our camper disconnecting and going over a cliff like area just before we made it to Mississippi from Alabama. But we kept going, and with the help of a lot of people, and by the grace of God, we made it to our property. So, we just wanted to share a little update as to what it looks like, and what we are dealing with currently. So, to start out, let's see a picture of what the "road" looks like that runs closest to our property's border:

Now, that you see the "road", take a look below at the trailer blocking said road in the ravine area of the road, a half a mile from our property where it is closest to this road.

Here is a view more from the road angle in the picture below.

Pictured below is us walking up the other side to continue on to get to our property line.

And because of that trailer blocking the way, we were forced to set up the pop up camper half a mile down the road from our actual property. Now we are trying to find a different way to travel in with the truck and the pop up and all of our supplies. Pictured below is the view from wear we set up the pop up camper.

Pictured below here was as we were getting our temp camp set up for the duration until we find another way onto the property.

And here we have set up a little bit more to help with the cold, and the winds.

Overall, it is absolutely beautiful out here! We LOVE it! It is just a huge adjustment for everyone because it is already below freezing at night.

Pictured below are the kids taking a walk out in front of the 4-wheeler.

And finally we made it to our actual property to check it out, and we got some great pictures!

We have a few different methods for cooking, boiling water, and staying warm. We have this propane eye (pictured below), we have a smaller propane eye/heater, and we have a campfire area set up too.

Pictured above are 2 of our kids and one of the dogs trying to stay warm around the fire.

Pictured below is a structure that we found in the middle of our property we are going to salvage for building around the pop up before the snow starts.

Hope y'all have enjoyed following us so far! Please check back soon for more updates from the offgridfamilyman, and his family!
